Hi, I’m Hannah.

I live in Chicago, IL and work out of my bedroom studio as a full time artist. 

I paint on cardboard using acrylics and graphite to create story-like figurative paintings that embrace themes of familiarity, comfort, and nostalgia. My work explores efforts towards self-connection through an intimate investigation of the human experience. 

I am motivated by ordinary people living ordinary lives, seeking inspiration from daily life and found vintage photos. I gravitate most towards moments that I find capture the simplicity of the human experience at it’s core.

I grew up in Elmhurst, IL and studied Fine Art at Colorado State University before transferring to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2024. 

I started painting on cardboard in 2023 as a way to combat an intense wave of artist block during my final year of undergrad. I wound up really enjoying the material properties, and have since adopted it into my daily practice. 

You can find me throughout the city of Chicago and surrounding areas, where I am frequently exhibiting at galleries, bars, and fine art markets.

I favor in-person interactions when selling existing artwork, which is why my online shop is often disabled.
