About me

Hi, I’m Hannah.

I live in Chicago, IL and work out of my bedroom studio as a full time artist.

I paint on cardboard using acrylics and graphite to create story-like figurative paintings that embrace themes of familiarity, comfort, and nostalgia. My work explores efforts towards self-connection through an intimate investigation of the human experience.

I started painting on cardboard in 2023 as a way to combat an intense wave of artist block during my final year of undergrad at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I wound up really enjoying the material properties, and have since adopted it into my daily practice.
